BRITISH FILM FESTIVAL 11th EDITION

Over the years of its existence, the British Film Festival has become a very special event in the cultural pattern of Armenia – showcasing best of the British film industry, offering development and capacity building opportunities not only to film professionals but also to journalists, photo reporters, human rights activists, creating a platform for cooperation and promoting a wider mutual appreciation between the UK and Armenia. This year we expect over 25000 people to visit Festival screenings and events.

In 2013, we will host the 11^th Edition of the British Film Festival dedicated to the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation in four cities across Armenia - Yerevan, Goris, Ashtarak and Hrazdan.

The United Nations General Assembly declared 2013 as the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation. March 22, 2013, the World Water Day that has been celebrated annually ever since 1993 will also be dedicated to water cooperation.

British Council Armenia joins this major global celebration within the framework of the 11th British Film Festival and announces the Film+H20 Film Competition.
